The reason I know that YIFY is a group of people is because many of their uploads have obviously been encoded correctly for folks looking to burn DVD video, and other uploads are apparently only aimed at people watching on their computers. Probably 30% of the movies with the YIFY name attached to it have been poorly encoded, almost like they were done by amateurs. I have to review a rendering of every YIFY movie to avoid wasting my time burning a dvd that's just going to end up a coaster. Just because it says YIFY next to the name there's no guarantee you're getting quality. Sometimes you're getting a steaming pile of shit and need to check another uploader )which is what I've been increasingly moving towards.
