Ship of Fools is the creation of Michael Avon Oeming and Bryan J. L. Glass. Six issues were released by Caliber, including a 48 page Bon Voyage special as well as three shorts in various issues of Negative Burn. Ship of Fools is the story of five mentally unstable outlaws who escape and become universal heroes. There's Mala, the two gunned sociopath...Darius, the scheming manipulator...Shiro, the socially dysfunctional alien...Atlanta, a schizophrenic psychopath...and Lloyd the android, who lies to protect his own metal skin. Behind it all, is the ever secret Jet Black Illuminati (the J.B.I.), the organization that pulls the strings and controls the events of the galaxy.
