@scrab20 If you are using Windows 8/8.1, turn off the Movie feature on the game's settings. After that, when you're loading a stage, open your Task Manager, go to Details, right-click Launch.exe (dynasty warriors exe name file) Set Priority to High and Set Affinity with all unchecked except for CPU 1. After loading the stage, go back to task manager and check all the CPUs on the Set Affinity to increase framerate again.

I don't know what that steamclient.dll was for, but I didn't need it to run. If any of u are having trouble with black screens, crashing, forever loading, or not responding... Try running on Windows 98 /Me compatibility mode. All game modes working for me (Windows 10 user).

Game works somewhat. Have constant loading errors though. Loading the game, loading levels, it seems to be completely random. Tried compatibility mode, just made the game run worse. Gonna try the 3dm crack to see if it fixes it, if not, uninstalling.
