Overview: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Tintin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tintin_in_the_Congo Story notes: Tintin and Snowy go adventuring in the Congo, leaving no "White Man's (or Dog's) Burden" cliche unexpressed and no species unendangered! Otherwise, this volume is just as charming and gorgeous as all the other, less controversial, ones, though. Scanscription notes: The timeline of this release meanders thusly: 1930-31: Original serialized publication 1931: Original single-volume edition 1946: Original colour edition 1975: Revised colour edition 1991: English translation of the 1931 edition 1997: German translation of the 1975 edition 2008: German translation of the 1946 edition ( 2014: gesserit combines scans of the 1991 and 2008 editions into this! ) The differences between the 1946 and 1975 editions are confined to a single page, both versions of which are included here. About 2% of the text is original re-translation, as there was no direct correspondence between the to-be-filled speech bubble and any of the ones in the English scan. About 10% is slightly edited, as one to-be-filled bubble corresponded to several in the English scan, or vice versa. The remainder could be directly transferred, subject to the occasional need to redo the word wrapping because of changes in bubble shape.

Thanks.
thanks gesserit! it's great to have a high-quality version of this. you're still the major general of awesome!
Yeah, and it only took me eight months from the time someone requested this ( http://piratebayproxy.live/torrent/9132776 ). But no, just kidding, that's not what motivated me to do this one, I simply found neverwhere's nice scans at LGC, and this was the first one not part of the English Minutemen set. One down, eight to go! :P
Can someone please seed? Thanks.
