So this is my first TV rip ever. If there are any problems please tell me. I'm eager to fix whatever issues may arise. I've found that the video looks a little weird in Windows Media Center (faces get a little garbled.) but it looks totally fine in VLC & XBMC. I intend on continuing to rip Stossel episodes. Anyway, I ripped this using some cheap Diamond dongle. Ripped using EZ Ripper to their "DVD" standard. Then cut into parts to remove commercials using AVIDemux. Using that same tool I then convert using MPEG4 AVC (x264) & AAC (Faac) with a file limitation of 350mb. I have nothing to do with the scene. I just admire their naming standards. Thanks. I've been missing this show.
thanks for this!
Thanks for uploading this. It looks like FOX does allow you to view full episodes of this show, but it's quite a bit behind: http://video.foxbusiness.com/playlist/stossel-full-episodes
The latest episode currently showing is from 07/17. The videos here are generally of higher quality than what you'd view on the web, anyway...

I'm not quite sure why, but XBMC is showing this video with letterbox bars along the top and the sides. I'm sure there's a way to make this video stretch automatically, but I have never seen this behavior before with encoded video...
Thanks for telling me about that. Next release I'll trim the black bars off the top and bottom. I thought that was just the way my player was formatting the picture. But it's literally part of the file. Clipping those bars off will save me some space.
FAKE (journalism)!
