The books were downloaded from Given the dire need for Islamic studies material in schools incorporating the subject in English, Darussalam has endeavored to publish an Islamic Studies series covering all the grades, from grade one through grade twelve. This Grade 1 textbook (for the first grade level) is part of the Islamic Education series whichcovers all areas of Islamic studies :tafseer, hadeeth, tawheed, fiqh, seerah, and general etiquette relating to different areas and situations. Given the importance of authentic Islamic knowledge, every effort has been made to ensure that the material presented in the series is authentic. Also, given the importance of Arabic Islamic terms, most of the terms are presented in their original Arabic script, along with the transliteration and the translation of their meanings. This also applies to supplications which have to be memorized in their Arabic version. The aim here is to help the reader read the original text and understand its meaning. Each lesson is followed by exercises covering questions about the lesson. One striking feature in the series is the colorful artwork used in it will certainly appeal to children. This is certainly bound to attract the young readers' attention, stimulate them, amuse them as well as educate them# This series aims to acquaint the student with the teachings of Islam in every aspect :beliefs, practices and moral conduct. This series, with its unique features, certainly fills a gap in this area which has long been partially neglected. The present breathtaking work was initiated by an expert in the field of education, Maulvi Abdul Aziz, MA. English literature, who held different posts in the field including that of Senior Administrative Officer in the Department of Private Education, Ministry of Education, Dubai, UAE, from 1982 to 2002. The current project also owes its existence in its present form to a number of people who made informative suggestions, particularly Al-Arabee Ben Razzouq, College of ********s and Translation, Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University, Riyadh, who undertook the painstaking task of checking the authenticity of the material presented in the series, proofreading the text as well as adding references to certain quotations from the Qur'an and the hadeeth. Special thanks also go to Sheikh Abdul-Qawiy Luqman, Al-Madeenah University graduate, for his interesting suggestions and to Mr. Zulfiqar Mahmood who conscientiously applied his expertise in the field of graphic design to produce the series in a superb shape. We pray to Almighty Allah to reward our endeavors and to make the present series abundantly beneficial to students in all stages of education as well as to any one who reads them. Abdul Malik Mujahid ............................................................ "Read! In the name of your Lord who has created :Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood :Read! I understand that some people may want to study this religion because of its expansion mainly by the sword for a long time, but really, a religion based on an extremely ignorant and coarse book, the quran, aimed at ignorant people of the desert, full of nonsense more than previous religions, wo in his or her right mind can believe or take seriously such crap?
Quran has so many scientific facts mentioned in it more than 1400 years ago, just discovered recently :)
You've been indoctrinated to hate islam and muslims through the media, waker up and look for the truth, READ

samirdz, I have read it, it is a culture of death and destruction, and subjugates women and children to servitude and slavery. Any so called religion that condones the beheading of children is evil at it's core. There are no denying these facts, as the quran says it is right and just to do all these things, and much more. No true religion would have you kill your fellow man, for any reason.

Only Islam has a concept codified in it's texts such as "Taqiyya". Now who's lying.

In Islam, taqiyya تقية (alternative spellings taqiyeh, taqiya, taqiyah, tuqyah) is a form of religious dissimulation,[1] or a legal dispensation whereby a believing individual can deny his faith or commit otherwise illegal or blasphemous acts while they are in fear or at risk of significant persecution.[2]
This practice was emphasized in Shi'a Islam whereby adherents may conceal their religion when they are under threat, persecution, or compulsion.[3] Taqiyya was developed to protect Shi'ites who were usually in minority and under pressure. In the Shi'a view, taqiyya is lawful in situations where there is overwhelming danger of loss of life or property and where no danger to religion would occur thereby.[1]
The term taqiyya does not exist in Sunni jurisprudence. In the Sunni view, denying faith under duress is "only at most permitted and not under all circumstances obligatory".[4] However, there are a few examples of practicing taqiyya among Sunnis where it was necessary.[5]

What does the Religion of Peace Teach About...
Lying (Taqiyya and Kitman)
Question:
Are Muslims permitted to lie?
Summary Answer:
Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences."
There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya and kitman. These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.
