Yes, very fail. No 1080p? That's a fail. No Subs? That's a fail.
@ Snegtul,
I believe this season is currently only available on Amazon Instant Video, so you should be grateful to get it at any resolution. I don't think there's been 1080p torrents for any of the previous seasons.
It never ceases to amaze me when I read complaints about there not being a 1080p version. When it comes to TV shows, there's generally no more picture detail in the 1080p web-dl video than there is in he 720p web-dl copy, and I've compared them lots of times.
Anyone claiming 1080p web-dl files generally have more picture detail is probably wrong. Especially the video originating at iTunes. Sometimes there's a fraction more fine detail.... but it's the sort of thing you can't see unless you pause the video on identical frames and switch between both versions with your nose pressed against the TV. Mostly though, they look exactly the same. Ironically, sometimes the 720p version can appear to be a fraction sharper when comparing still frames..... it needs to be up-scaled whereas the 1080p version doesn't, so if the up-scaling is a little sharp.....
I can't wait for 4K to become mainstream so people can complain about it. Why only 1080p? they'll want to know.
Where do the subtitles come from? Is it possible the show's being broadcast without them? Should someone manually create them from scratch for you?
What about a simple "thank you". How hard is it when you've already gone to the trouble of logging in to complain?

Well said fillingthisspace. Thanks for your file. I think few people know that there is a season 3 of this series. There was this rumour of cancelling after season 2. I am sure the subtitles will follow.
I myself find that a lot of copies between 720p and 1080p look the same, even with movies, even with big the big files...
