God, it started back in high school, when I saw that first pinup calendar over the car mechanic's desk. Scantily clad women and shiny wrenches - what a turn-on for a young, impressionable mind.

Then, there was the stack of Playboy magazines hidden in the men's room at the soda fountain. Another shock - this was in the late 60s, when women had not yet developed pubic hair but did have enormous breasts.

In college, there was the film studies professor who thought that blue movies were an important part of a college education. I was on that slippery road, and didn't even realize it.

Later, there were dial-up modems, BBS systems, and photo sharing. Then came the WWW, then high-speed Internet, usenet, BitTorrent, and TPB.

Without every realizing where it all went wrong, I became a porn addict! Oh god, the countless hours wasted downloading and watching porn, all those rolls of toilet paper gone.

This book has saved my life. Thank you, thank you for sharing it.
Science does support the idea of detrimental consequences of porn abuse. http://www.nhs.uk/news/2014/05May/Pages/Watching-porn-associated-with-male-brain-shrinkage.aspx And it isn't all good for the performers, either http://ps.psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/ps.62.6.pss6206_0639
