Vikings S03 special - Secrets of the Vikings 

In this special, Michael Hirst, the creator and writer of the TV series Vikings, together with a number of scholars, provide some historical background for the show. In particular, the special focuses on shield maidens, the great halls and Viking ships. 

History.ca has a series of 6 clips with the same name which appears to include more information and footage. The material on History.ca is dated Feb 5, 2015 and a variety of scenes from the show are shown, so I have labeled it as a season 3 special.

This aired on History HD in Canada. Like all of my releases to date, the source is an analog rip, so the quality is, at best, something like A8 V8.
