Here are some tips to resolve issues unfortunately still present when running the game on modern OS and aren't yet fixed
1. If you experience a stuttering / unresponsive game - try switching to a windowed mode instead of fullscreen
2. If you are running a game in the windowed desktop-resolution mode make sure your taskbar is NOT set to auto-hide otherwise you will get a distorted game window
