Chappie should be renamed to 'Crappy'...
Huge waste of time !!!
Huge waste of time !!!
This is Johnny 5 with swear words!
I don't know what these clowns are talking about. This movie was AMAZING. It was a decent copy, just a bit muffled, but great picture. Difficult to understand the accent, but they actually really toned it down. Good file. NOTHING like JOhnny 5, it's the best movie I've seen in years. Don't be a fucking hater.
The above supposed 'description' of the movie Chappie is appallingly incorrect, inaccurate and flat-out fucking wrong in places. Who writes this stuff?
Here, copypasted and lightly edited from imdb.com... -
"In the near future, crime in South Africa is successfully patrolled by a new mechanized police force, the Scout droids. After one police droid becomes damaged beyond repair, it is stolen and then given new experimental programming. It becomes the first robotic artificial intelligence ever with the ability to think, feel and choose for Himself."
Personally, I liked the movie. The robotics animations were sincerely seamless in most scenes, not so much in others; although the score and soundtrack helped fill in for the lack of visual reality and helped draw one into the scene where necessary in a fairly neat manner.
My mom said to me after watching Chappie: 'It's a tear-jerker.' I watched it after reading the synopsis and understanding the magnitude and scale of what is happening in the movie and when it came time, I cried too.
It could just be mood/time of day or a full moon or too many Blue Bunny ice cream bars, but it affected me that way the first time and still does every time I watch it.
