only to lose much of its audience and be off the air within 14 months of its debut.
But before it was over, Twin Peaks altered the television landscape forever. 
We still reap the benefits today. It remains as engrossing a story as it ever was, 
with a bold, surreal, cinematic eccentricity that stands in defiance of its age 
and almost prophetically ahead of its time.
