@MorphzreaZ are you starting the game through the launcher or the RollerCoaster Tycoon World .exe
i used the exe and i can build coasters and rides in both campaign and sandbox with no problems..
If your trying the campaign, try doing the tutoiral at the top of the screen.

Does not seem to work properly for me. I can not build anything in sandbox or campaign mode ( i stay stuck at the build a ride part of the tutorial ) using either the launch or .exe. =(
From a gamer who has been torrenting since 2002.. take it from me this works fine 100% without any fuss at all :)
Unzip the folder to your desktop or wherever you want as long as its not on a network drive.. run launcher.exe .. it is wise to run as admin because the game requires permission to write to User/appdata/locallow/

played both launcher.exe and rctw.exe in regular and admin mode, yet i still cant place rides/coasters. ive unzipped the but still nothing
