GEERT WAEGEMAN is also a multi-instrumentalist and producer in addition to being a composer. Mixing acoustic music and electronics has been an important aspect of his music from the beginning. He is ‘the brain’ behind the instrumental group Cro Magnon, an important driver in the evolution of 'Belgian Chamber Rock'. He has worked with percussionist Pavel Fajt and singer Anna Homler, performed with many different ensembles, and is regularly involved in music theatre.
Vegetal Digitables is the first solo-Cd by Geert Waegeman. A subtle intertwinement of acoustic and electronic sounds. The often organic and layered soundscapes are inspired by the wondereous worlds of botany and gastronomy. Nothing is was it seems to be in this world.
