These are 720p re-encodes of the following torrent:
Malcolm.in.the.Middle.S06.1080p.Hotstar.WEBRip.AAC2.0.x264264-BTGM[rartv]

The source video bitrate was too low and it doesn't have 1080p worth of picture detail, but it did clean up enough to justify 720p. There's samples of both the source and the encoded video included for comparison.

The source was 25fps, so I slowed it to 23.976fps and replaced the audio with the stereo AC3 from some old NTSC DVD encodes (the source audio was also stereo). Four episodes were censored/edited, so to restore the edited parts, I took the video from my old NTSC DVD encodes.

There's no subtitles, as the subs from the source no longer sync. If they're available somewhere, subtitles for the season 6 NTSC DVDs should be fine.

Video: 23.976fps, 1280x720, x264 encoder, Level 4.1, CRF18, Tune Film, Preset Slower (almost).
Audio: Stereo AC3.
Subtitles: None.

I've re-encoded four episodes from season six.

The first five episodes required a fair bit of work, as even though the picture had been cropped to fix problems for the NTSC DVD release, for the PAL 1080p version it hadn't.

After realising I'd missed some problems, I checked the episodes again while comparing them to the DVD versions.

New encodes of episode 1, 2, 3 & 5.
