Czech/French animated cult sci-fi classic. English subs included. See IMDB-link above for more info. --- Description (taken from IMDB): La Planète sauvage AKA Fantastic Planet is a surreleast story based on the Soviet occupation of the Chezc Republic. Set in a far distant world human beings or "Oms"have been domesticated by the gigantic Draags. Wild Oms however are a problem and are extermenitad by the dozen. One demosticated om Terr is able to escape his masters with a headset that puts information directly into the brain. Armed now with the Draags technology he leads the Oms in an attempt to make life better for them...But will the deomizing destroy them? --- Great movie with a stunning soundtrack by french jazzman Alain Goraguer. Also, if i remember correctly, all the sound effects in this movie is made with a Moog! I could be wrong, because my french is not that great, but I think the credits states that the sound effects were made with an EMS synthesizer, probably a VCS3.
