If this is .h264, why is it so big? Isn't the whole point of h264 to get the same quality in a smaller file size or better quality in an equal file size?

I don't mean to sound picky or ingrateful, I'm just wondering why this needed to be 2 GB instead of 1.4 GB.

DVD-R size 4.XXGB/2 could be usuful file size. You could get 2 movies onto the DVD-R with excellent quality.
