Rotterdam, de jaren dertig. Deurwaarder Dreverhaven (Jan Decleir) is een machtig, gevreesd man. 
Wanneer Joba, zijn huishoudster, een kind van hem verwacht, 
wil zij niet met hem trouwen en verlaat zijn huis. 
Zij voedt hun zoon Katadreuffe (Fedja van HuÃ?t) alleen op, 
terwijl ze weigert iets van Dreverhaven aan te nemen. 
Deze besluit als wraak zijn onwettige zoon waar mogelijk te dwarsbomen. 
Katadreuffe komt na een aantal tegenslagen op een advocatenkantoor 
te werken waarna de strijd tussen vader en zoon nog heviger wordt. 
Een noodlottige climax is onvermijdelijk.

In 2007 this rip was surely ok. But today, with that HUGE size...horrible.
