Works great! To add these songs to FoF, you need to move the downloaded and unzipped folder to the FoF system folder.
sudo mv /home/USER_NAME/Name_of_this_folder /usr/share/games/fretsonfire/data/songs

If you want to play FoF on Win 7 you need this file:

FretsOnFire_Portable_1.5.9.1_PRERELEASE_3_en-us.paf

Works pretty good for me (Win 7 64bit Ultimate), seldom crashes if you want to start a song but never mid playing.
