step 1: Click Start->Run type regedit
step 2: Browse "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows" via regedit
step 3: Modify the Windows XP SP1 value "CSDVersion 0x00000100" with Windows XP SP2 value "CSDVersion 0x00000200"
step 4: Close registry editor
step 5: Reboot
Making Adobe Photoshop Cs3 Think You Are On Windows XP SP2 while using Windows XP SP1 via registry editor:
