Mac OS 9 Companion Disk International English This CD is in Mac OS extended format which means it can't be read by Mac OS 8.1 and older systems. It is primarily intended as a continuation to my Mac OS 9.0.4 International English torrent. The International English updates will not update any North American English or British English systems. If you're uncertain of what to do with a RAR-ed file, or an ISO image, please look at the description of my Mac OS 9.0.4 International English torrent. Thanks. Good work!
Turn off unnecessary programs, stop unnecessary processes and try again. Seems your system is too busy with other things beside burning.
Here's from SlySoft's site:
FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
I get an 'Invalid Field in CDB' error when burning.
Either the copy process stopped because the writer ran out of data (connection lost to the pc) or the CD you want to copy might contain corrupt subchannel data. We suggest that you leave the field 'Don't repair subchannel data' blank when starting the writing process.

I'd guess anti-virus scanning software is the crook here. It is so busy scanning every file you open or work with that it slows down the entire system. Burning software is extra sensitive to getting its data on time.
Also, if your ISO image is on some slow media, like perhaps an external USB 1.1 drive, it will likely fail in the way you described.
