This documentary film seeks to examine the process of evolution by looking at the many creatures of the sea that can illustrate the way multi-cellular life emerged over the course of four billion years. OCEAN ORIGINS is a creative film that uses fascinating documentary footage to look at scientific theories and principles in an interesting manner. screens: http://www.image-load.eu/out.php/i25469_snapshot20080214232039.png http://www.image-load.eu/out.php/i25471_snapshot20080214232046.png http://www.image-load.eu/out.php/i25476_snapshot20080214232104.png http://www.image-load.eu/out.php/i25480_snapshot20080214232121.png http://www.image-load.eu/out.php/i25483_snapshot20080214232132.png http://www.image-load.eu/out.php/i25482_snapshot20080214232131.png http://www.image-load.eu/out.php/i25481_snapshot20080214232125.png

This is a fine documentary.
Sidenote: this is a broadcast rip. I?ve found the changing channel logo and numerous announce inserts to be slightly distracting.

it all depends on your graphics card and the resolutions it can handle.
personally i use 1360X768 for my HDTV to be used as a monitor. it allows for a 120Hz refresh rate as supposed to the screen blacking out on my DVI to HDMI cable to the TV.
a standard VGA cable should handle it.
if you have an Nvidia card, they have a DVI to HDMI setup that will also run the audio thru the HDMI. where as newer ATI cards simply have an HDMI out.
but both ATI and Nvidia offer an adapter that does the video out (s-video 9 pin for Nvidia, VGA for ATI) as a component video which can handle 480i/p, 720p, and 1080i. but not 1080p
running thru a vga alone with the 1360X768 is technically a better resolution than 720p, but for movie viewing pleasures, it's the same thing.
