1992 saw the band doing their longest sets to that date, mixing things up and adding things in from their fourth CD, Black Eyed Man. This tour featured some rarely played songs, especially covers, like Gram Parsons' "Hot Burrito #1" and the Rolling Stones' "Dead Flowers." I really wish I had some more performances from this tour, as I really like it, and the performances still maintain some of the rawness of the early tours but show the evolving sound that would crystallize on the 1994 tour..

This is the first show from the 1992 tour in the SOTM download series. A few notes: originally, whoever sent this to me marked it as a soundboard. Upon listening, it turns out to be an audience tape. Additionally, there is a bit missing from the beginning of both "'Cause Cheap is How I Feel" and "Walking After Midnight," both of which fade in so there isn't a hard cut in. It's still quite good, though there is a little more noise than I thought. However, given the setlist and the quality of the performance, I still think it a valuable archival moment, and a show the llamas voted on for release. ENJOY!

You can decode the Lossless audio FLAC files into WAV files with
your favorite decoder ( see

http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html ) then write them to a CD with no gaps
between the tracks (i.e. Disk At Once) for a complete "Live"
show.

When you finish downloading this Torrent you can decode the FLAC files into a different folder to make the CDs. That way you can continue to seed the show for awhile.

I'm at the end of a long, very slow pipe and I stupidly put up all 25 shows at the same time. So when one show completes I pause it so the others will speed up. I didn't expect that there would be so many people who hadn't gotten the shows from http://www.4thellamas.com/index.htm .

This was an experiment for people who were on dial-up and couldn't download easily from the site. I do leave the second machine in the other room seeding all the shows, but it isn't as fast as this one. I'll keep seeding, but help with that from the faster machines out there is appreciated.

Thanks.

These shows are out here because the band gave permission.
