Nice - something from When In Rome besides "The Promise"!

Great mix with some Canadian bands (Platinum Blonde, Spoons, Strange Advance) too. :)
I let the Infonistacrat know about this post so he can borrow some more tunes! He won't post my comment https://infonistacrat.hometownproject.org/2008/03/10/rare-hits-of-the-80s-vol-1/

But here's what I sent him.

"There?s another Rare Hit?s of the 80?s posted by 80zforever - are you going to knock that off for a blog post too? Here?s the link to save you some time?

https://piratebayproxy.live/tor/4080909/Rare_Hits_of_The_80s_Vol._24

There?s a great seldom-heard When in Rome song in that list that you can pretend you ?discovered?. And since you won?t post my comment which tells your readers where you?re really taking this music from - you?ll look like quite the music source! Great success!

You?re a hack. I wonder where you?re swiping your other playlists from?"

Keep up the great work 80zforever - these playlists are awesome and I really appreciate the effort!
Hey Infonistacrat, it's nice nice to delete people's comment on your blog! lol
tut!

.
Well it looks like 80zforever is getting the credit where it's due.

"Oh, and just one last thing. I get my inspiration for my lists from many many places. Albums, lists, other websites, and yes, even stuff I find on bittorrent. That doesn?t make me lazy?it?s still music that 99.9% of the people who visit this site would have never heard if I hadn?t posted it. If you feel I?m lazy because I take inspiration from where I can find it, then I apologize. The Rare 80?s stuff comes from lists put together by a user named 80zForever. My apologies to him for not crediting him originally. But then again, I recognize quality when I find it, and why in the hell would I mess with something that works?"

I love how he calls it "inspiration". He took the playlists that 80zforever probably spent alot of time on, and re-arranged them slightly and re-posted them. That's called being a hack and or a cheap knock off.

Infonistacrat I can see how borrowing the idea and maybe grabbing a song or two would count as inspiration, but if you're so inspired, would you be adding some of what you think is a "Rare Hit of the 80's" instead of leaching off of someone elses hard work (and grabbing all the credit from the clueless people who read your blog and actually think you're coming up with this on your own)?
Hey McHuge great job lol. I think he would stop posting them for a while. What I told him was that in fact it was my intention to promote these non-mainstream 80s gems and he's more than welcome to post them quoting the source and not pretending it's his hard work. thx again.
hey, i thought vol23 was last? :)
anyway thanks for another great set.
if you have the great divide by the great divide, and if you plan on setting up vol 25, would you care to add this?
cheers
Hi kdsde, I am so sorry. I don't have it. But I will double check with a few friends to see if they do.

Cheers
So here's the scoop: some stupid labels are withholding the release of the stuff they have the right to. So there's no option to buy them. Now how come downloading something you can't find to buy is illegal? da? lol
Thanks
