looks interesting, but, not enough info. what kind of files are they, mp3 (what bitrate) flac, etc?
mp3 128 kbps
Could someone please seed this?

Thanks
This is a wonderful torrent, but more than half of it will not expand from RAR, due to broken MP3 files. So far, the following titles are broken:
Colors
Crisis
In All Languages
Tone Dialing

There may be more, just haven't gotten to it. Can these titles be re-seeded or fixed? Thanks for all the help and of course, the seed itself.
OK, more titles are "broken."
Body Meta
Golden Circle
Dancing In Your Head.

I hate to be ungrateful, but can this please be fixed. What a shame to waste this killer torrent.
I'll look into this issue but I don't understand exactly what you mean by broken rar files due to broken mp3 files. Are you using winrar 3.50 or newer? Can other people perhaps confirm the supposedly corrupted rar files?
I will explain the best way I can. Once the torrent was complete, I began to expand the RAR files using Rar Expander. (I have a MAC and it's always worked quickly and flawlessly) I started with random titles I had wanted to listen to. It all seemed to be going smoothy, until I got to "In All Languages." It stopped at the 4th track and a message popped up "Cannot complete, track 4 'Word For Bird MP3 is a broken file." And that was that. I was able to expand about 9 titles, but all else had the same problem. I have trashed the completed download, and have begun to download from scratch hoping that will somehow correct it.
I think the problem is with rar expander. I have just tested other rar files from my latest two uploads and there is no indication there is anything wrong with the rar files. I'm still downloading the rar files you mentioned though, to check them. But as far as I can see the problem is with rar expander and not the rar files themselves. Try expanding them at a friend who has a windows pc with winrar 3.50 or newer.
OK, I'll wait patiently for the re-download to finish and see what happens. Sorry to trouble you. Thanks for the torrent. I hope I can pull it off. I don't know of another Rar expander that will work with a MAC.
I've downloaded the rar files from the albums you mentioned and I have no problems extracting them, so that means the problem is most likely caused by the program you use to expand rar files.
Thanks a lot, I wasted all that time downloading this to find out it was all at 128kbps. Why even bother circulating this filth?
Thank you for this excellent post! All the RAR files expand properly and everything sounds great.
Many thanks for this fantastic collection!
128 kbps? What's the point...
The point is listening to the music not archiving it, mr arrogant.
A fantastic up, Doduhah. Very much appreciated. I can't for the life of me guess why anybody would badmouth nearly 3 gigs of superb sounds!!
Wow! Thank you so much! This is an amazing introduction to a lot of beautiful, completely obscure Ornette recordings. Can you point me in the right direction to find some of this stuff on vinyl or CD- especially the live material? I'm an audiophile, so I prefer to listen to that if I can.

By the way, I just found the full Ornette/Grateful Dead concert with good audio quality at https://archive.org/details/gd93-02-23.sbd.hall.1611.sbeok.shnf

Blessings on your liberating art!
these people badmouthing...if you want perfection go and buy it. this is free, get over yourselves.
