Hi ronyxxx ,
For info. the tracker list in the torrent needs a CR (the enter key) after each name to divide them otherwise clients like Utorrent won't use them all , only the top one .

oh thanku wankan! this is my first torrent and i could use really use some help and advice. oh and since u are here, i would like to ask if you would know if it is better to use CBR for the audio? because i've seen most of the movie torrents nowadays use CBR. i've always preferred VBR since i thought it would produce better quality than CBR. but would it cause incompatibility issues with many standalone DivX players? thank u so much for your help. :)
I haven't ever seen a standalone Divx player so can't comment on that I'm afraid .
I'm no expert in any sense of the word but personally I prefer Cbr because it makes it easier for me to convert directly to mpg for dvd burning . Vbr means I have to convert from Vbr mp3 to Wav and then back to mp3 when the mpg is produced (then obviously to Vob etc) .
Using cbr takes one step out of the process .
My old cheapo dvd player doesn't like anything else .
Not sure but I thought Vbr was used just to save a few mb's off the file size .
I've scanned this film and it looks very good .
Thanks very much .
Only thing I would perhaps suggest , and again it's only my preference , is to not hardencode the subs but provide an srt or SSA file . When resizing for a dvd burn the hardencoded subs can get a little less crisp when finally viewing .
Thanks again .
