Japanese for Busy People is one of the worst of the best courses, IMO, using outdated language. As the name implies, it's good for busy (businessman) type gaijins, not those who want to sound like normal citizens. If you master this you will sound like a fob.

ï¼ iccyhot that is nonsense. you learn mostly formal Japanese in these books but that's the most important kind of Japanese after all.
however, if you really want to learn proper Japanese you should get a teacher to use this book with you.
