(Problems with magnets links are fixed by upgrading your torrent client!)
A fully-functional WinPE (Windows Pre-Installation Env, based on Windows XP SP2) + Linux (Slax-6-RC6) live CD ISO. Comes w/ AdAware SE + McAfee AV + ClamAV + SpywareDoctor updated as of 27-Mar-08, Windows Explorer, SmartDriverBackup, PCITREE, FoxIt PDF Reader, FileZilla FTP Client, Ghost 8, UltraVNC, Partition Magic 8, CHNTPW (now Vista-compatible), WIPECMOS, MEMTEST, the IBM/Seagate/WD hdrive diagnostics, etc. Boots to WinPE by default. For those who've been asking, there's now a procedure to transfer HAWKPE to a USB thumb drive and make it bootable, along w/ other additions to the HAWKPE-CHANGES & README-HAWKPE text files ! Slax is an excellent example of a portable Linux, which comes w/ Firefox-2+Flash-9, KDE's KOffice suite, multimedia goodies, and the latest K3B CD/DVD burning application. So with a USB thumb drive and your HAWKPE CD/DVD, you can carry a multimedia-enabled computer system, with you at all times. Enjoy.... As a recap, here's the most up-to-date inventory of what's on the disc: A2Hijack AdAware SE Pro AusLogic Defrag Broadcom 44xx-NIC Drivers Broadcom Extreme-NIC Drivers Change NT/2K/XP/2K3/Vista Passwords Clamwin AV Filezilla FoxIt PDF Reader Ghost 8 HWPnP IBM/Hitachi Disk Fitness Test Intel-10-100-1000MHz NIC Drivers Intel-810 Display Drivers Intel-Extreme Display Drivers Microscope 2005 McAfee AV Scanner Memtest86 MemtestPlus NSSI nVidia Display Drivers Partition Magic 8 PCITree PowerDefragmenter PuTTY Python Sala Password Renew-Beta SeaTools (Seagate/Maxtor) Drive Diagnostics Smart Driver Backup Spyware Doctor TFTPD32 Treesize Pro UltraVNC ViewCHM WCPUID Western Digital Drive Diagnostics 5 Windows File Explorer WinRAR PS: Depending on the source, you'll be downloading a compressed ISO as a single, large .RAR file or a series of .RAR files and an .EXE (the self-extractor.) Greyhawk: have you checked out the Geek Squad MRI software yet to compare yours with?? There are some things that might be worth including. But their software did screw up some things when I used it....such as added their crappy OS bootup option that I had to manually delete.
thanks for this live cd. I have a question. I'm having a problem burning it requiring 360.307 sectors which is more than my burning progs permit me to write to a cd-r. Is my download possible corrupted or ???
Thank you for your time and effort , greyhawk3.
My respect !

burned with ImgBurn and went ok without me doing anything to adjust for size, Nero can't do it due to size and or CDRs I am using
Thanks for this project this is a great thing you are doing, I hope you continue it.

I am needing a winPE with Acronis 11. Do not know how to make. Can this be added as a update? Or how about putting together a real small, one application, BartPE? Thank you.

Thanks, this has proven very useful 5 times since I d/l it two weeks ago. Used it to 'fix' a seagate drive long enough to clone it to another drive. Have not figured out how to use to clone to a file on an external USB laptop drive and then back again but thats probably just me...ghost keeps dividing it up into two or more files.
looks interesting but slax is beyond me, I booted it and seen the sneakers and some sign and cursor was active like but it didn't go any further, either my laptop is not up to it (it was loading ages) or slax is for some secret sect users LOL
Greyhawk, this one is a winner. Burned it into a USB key (actually a 2Gig SD card in a USB adaptor) and it works like a charm. You might recall you and I had vainly tried to get up an earlier version into USB. Great job! And the SD card sits nicely in my wallet wherever I go...
Dude... I've never seen any of your torernts before, and I've never tried this... but you're already fucking awesome for posting this on here! XD
When Download is finished and I try it out, I will give feedback. ^^

Hey greyhawk, just wanted to request that in HawkPE-41 you toss in testdisk its a great command-line program for windows and/or linux that takes up little space. It was a life saver when it came time to fix my girlfriend's laptop
One thing I would love to see is an iso generator that could be used to generate an ISO image file of one disk and store it on an external USB drive.
Great release greyhawk- i do have a suggestion tho- how about adding OPHCrack to the list of tools? when you release the dvd versions, the rainbow tables should fit nicely with all your other programs...just a thought...
