I would just be happy to get version 7 with SP2 running. I have tried to manually remove most of the sp2 updates one at a time without any luck, maybe on the next rainy day.
With version 8 it seems as if the site key generation is the answer. In that direction I have tried a few keygens that are based on hardware setup without any luck.

Sitekey generator is only 50% of the protection. It will also require a dongle.
Dongles can be emulated..
We have found a workaround on the sitekey but a dongle-emulator is a must.

We solved pretty much..tought about getting a keygen but maybe better to use the crack-energy on new NOBELTEC MAXPRO.
Why we can not torrent out the cracks now because that would expose to much from who it all comes from..IT CAN BE DONE..so do not give up crackers out there! Keygenerator is a great solution..but dongle-emulator is also needed.

I don't use Nobeltec anymore but when I did I got it working on SP2 somehow as follows:
If I remember right, Installed Admiral 7 and crack was NAMD -something. For the sitekey I used version 6 sitekey gen.
At this point Admiral didn't start, but...
Then I installed Tsunamis Navigator Pro (WF 15 2002). Important thing with Tsumnamis was that the TCWF-folder had to be put to the same place that Nobltec installed it, in other words... TCWF folder had to be overwrited.
At this point Admiral started and so did Tsunamis.
That way I could use BSB-KAP charts in Admiral but not the WF15 nor the Nobeltecs vector charts. I do not know if Tsunamis was usable because I never used it... in my opinion Tsunamis sucks deep!

All in all my opinion is that for basic navigation Maptecs Chart Navigator Pro is nicer software than Admiral. It's based on Rosepoint Nav's Coastal Explorer which is going to be version 2 soon...looks nice. I hope Maptech updates as well.

Best software for bitmap-charts is WinGPS from Stentec. Go on and try the demo! Version 4 has not been cracked yet and I'm not sure if It can be cracked to get is as full version. It's not expensive to buy though.

After all... I do not use any of mentioned above :)

Interesting with Rosepoint Nav's Coastal Explorer.
However, i am so familiar nw with NOBELTEC so it is kinda "must have" for me.
very interesting that you managed with keygens.
I am trying to get my hands on the new MAX SEA PRO from NOBELTEC, and then (if I can), get keygens instead on fighting with this Admiral 8 which is cracked but serialnumbers are not concealed.not so good, it will hang out good people close to me.
