How to use:

1. Put the SD card in your computer.

2. unpack the data.bin file on to the SD card.

You put the save file in this folder: "SD card" / private / wii / title / RSBE / data.bin

3. Put the SD card back in your Wii, and go to the "data management" option and copy the save file from your SD card on to your Wii.

4. Start the game and have fun!

This is the save for USA/NTSC region Wii:s only!

File list not available.

DarkShadow-SwE:

sammy6nips :

No problem m8!
what is a sd card?? sorry for being nooby
A sd card is a "flash memory card" for the computer/Wii

Uh... ive heard in some places that you have to chip your wii, if this is true, how the hell do you do it? :P
No, this is JUST the save file not the whole game, so no, you dont need a chip, just copy the save from sd card to wii
But you do need a chip for the actual game? How do i get one :P and how do i put it in? hehe... Sorry about sounding so nooby ^^
Yeah you need a chip for the actual game, and chip depends on what drive version your wii is (you can see this by looking at your wii serial number) if the serial starts with LEH 135 or above you will need a D2C chip, and if the serial is below LEH 135 you can use a Wiikey chip. Search the web for more information
Thankyou so much mate :D
No problems!
well i dont see the point to be honest...kinda takes the fun out of the game...and the point of spending 40 quid on it...
oh oh ozke. This did not worked. I got Error #0001.

GOD DAMN NOW I DONT HAVE A F*CKING SAVE FILE. DONT TEST THIS
Umm...the 001 error isnt because of the save file... and you should know that this is the save file for the NTSC version of the game. Sorry it didnt work for you.
So... is this for the USA wii? yes right? and i don't get it when it says "You put the save file in this folder: "SD card"privatewiititleRSBEdata.bin
" what does he mean?
What i mean is you put it in the: private / wii / title / RSBE / data.bin folder of your SD card

The data.bin is the actuall save file. And yes, this is the save for USA Wiis
"Yeah you need a chip for the actual game, and chip depends on what drive version your wii is"

You can play copied/backup games now without a modchip. Just go for the softmod method... all you need is a SD card.

I really hate to sound like an absolute noob here and waste your time, but if you could answer this question for me, i'd be super grateful.

First, let me step back, i have an ordinary SD card, with nothing at all on it.

Where does this folder SD card/private/wii/title/RSBE/data.bin come in?

Do i need to make a folder in my sd card called private then wii... and so on? then just dump the save file in there?

Again, sorry to be the noob here, but i'd really like to figure this out
Yes, make those folders and then put the save in there
Hey so ive never done this before and right now i have a canon sd card 32 mb which is big enough to support this save (15mb). So when i put it into my pc it reads it and when i open it up it says empty no folders. so i made the appropriate folders (SD card / private / wii / title / RSBE and drag the data.bin into the RSBE folder but when i go to data managment on the wii nothing...PLZ HELP thanks!
nvm i fixed the problem ur not sopposed to create a "SD card" folder now i relize while its in quotations hahah

My SD card is 2GB, is that big enough to hold the Brawl Save File? I put the SD card into the port on my notebook and download the torrent to it. I followed the directions saying to put it in "private/wii/title/RSBE/data.bin" -- even though "data.bin" is not a file that I can save something into. I am not sure what to do. I am probably making some dumb mistake along the way, can anyone help me out???
Note, you need a softmod. There are some "protected" saves that can never normally be transfered to or from the SD card. SSB Brawl is one such game using protected save. You do NOT use the normal procedure to install this. You must first play the game and get a save. Then extract that to SD with homebrew called "savegame extractor". It should be in the folder mentioned in this torrent on the SD card. Then replace that file with the downloaded one. Then use another homebrew called "savegame installer" to put install the 100% completed gamesave on your system. Both the extractor and installer homebrews REQUIRE that your system be modded, either by softmod or by modchip. This can NOT be done with the normal SD card save transfer utility that comes built into the Wii's system menu.
For those who use it with dolphin: simply start dolphin go to tools and select import wii save. Thanks a lot!
