Thanks a lot for providing us this wonderful rendition of the Cello Concerto and the Enigma Variations. BTW, the Cello Concerto is indeed performed by Du Pré (Barenboim conducting), but who are the performers of the Variations ?? The tempi are more dramatic than with Barenboim and the LPO (Sony Classics CD), and this interpretation is closer to the Slatkin's one (Sony BMG too), but, as far as I know, it is not the Slatkin's one. Could anybody post information about the performers of the Variations ?
