"When I Grow Up" was digitally released on May 27 on Amazon, and iTunes.

The Pussycat Dolls performed the song for the first time on Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 20, and again at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards on June 1.
It is the first single since the departure of Carmit Bachar, who had served the longest time with the Dolls.

In a recent interview, the Pussycat Dolls stated that they would be shooting a music video for "When I Grow Up" after the MTV Movie Awards. The video was shot by Joseph Kahn, who is famous for shooting the video for Britney Spears's single Toxic, on June 3, 2008.

The music video will premiere on the new MTV video show "F'N MTV", which is hosted by Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, on June 13, 2008.

Britney Spears will make a cameo in the video.
