This is an hp xp professional iso slipstreamed with sp3. It can be used to install windows on hp machines with the oem sticker and activate without problems. You can also use it to run repair installs on them without loosing all updates prior to sp3.

I will keep it seeded for a long time, but please help and always at least seed to 1:1.

Could you possibly post a clean HP-CPQ OEM VISTA SP1?

I expect I can build one from a DELL disk and the right files - but I would trust your builds.

daddycat, I'm pretty sure vista's disks don't have the same limits as xp ones do. Any vista disk will be able to activate with any key. They use some oembios files to make a preactivated install, but you can activate without problems using any other disk, retail or oem.

I understand, in general, what is involved.
I have 5 HP-CPQ D530 SFF machines in my home
office and want to use the OEM preactivation.
I will just follow some links from msfn.org and
locate the proper oembios files.

just what i was looking for, damned system restore cd's that came with it won't work, so this will do the trick. assuming it'll will boot.

ANOTHER FAKE.

A TRUE HP XP install will install on any HP or Compaq without requiring any key during install.

Although this does not require key to install you forgot something.

A TRUE HP Install on a TRUE HP PC will have the HP Logo and HP Support contact information displayed in - Control Panel - System - General.

DOes this Xp install all the audio/video drivers automaticallly? like it does with windows 7 on the HP laptop.
