BBC Four TimeShift documentary examining how the British were poised to excel 
in space science engineering in the post war period -  only to be subjected to 
funding cuts and a 'brain-drain' to other countries.

Gives a rare view of the immediate history of rocket development following the 
shock of Von Braun's V2 which created an early shock 'n' awe over an unaware 
London in 1944. The British role in chasing Nazi scientists and subsequent 
technology transfer of rocketry goodies to the UK. On a limited budget, playing 
second fiddle to the USA -  British engineers achieved amazing things in the 
decades following WWII.
