If you found this torrent than you probably already know their story, so I'll spare you the bytes. This album is no longer distributed and is found only among the fans who have been with them since the beginning. I share it because it is extremely rare and because it provides an additional layer of depth to the Avett Brothers' artistic development.

I have all their albums but am reluctant to share the ones that are still distributed. That leaves their self-released self-titled album from 2000, Live from the Double Door, and Seth's three Darling solo projects.
Thanks for this. I would love Live at the Double Door Inn if you would upload it. I have all distributed stuff as well but I bought all that. These guys are great. Thanks for sharing this rare gem.
A lot of people define their sound as punk or bluegrass. I like PunkGrass or Grunge Grass as their genre.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you!
I'm desperate to find the Darling albums that are out of print? Any help?
You are a fantastic human being. The Avetts are one of the greatest bands of this age.

Please, please, please share all their out of print stuff. I will do a happy dance but not in ASCII so you don't even have to be aware of it.
The last track cut off for me at 1:05 - is this the same for everyone else?
Yes, Closing Night cuts off at 1:05. My disc is scratched and I haven't found an app that can extract the last part of that track. I've edited the above info to reflect that.
Also, I've just been made aware that Ramseur Records is planning to re-release Country Was for digital download (iTunes, etc) in 2009. Its a rumor at this point, so take it for what its worth (although I heard this from a trusted source during the New Year's Eve show in Charlotte)
Happy New Year Avett fans! I just uploaded Live at the Double Door for you.

Okay, so I have a lot of family from North Carolina. And my uncle had been naggin' me to check out these Avett Brothers for a few years but I never got around to it. Today I stumbled across them while listening to some other bands on myspace. I am truly embarrassed I waited so long. -_-

I'd like to listen to them chronologically - I dunno I'm weird like that. But it doesn't seem like their first few are in print! Is there somewhere I can get the first one?
Nirvlime - I'm the same way.
You're doing good to find this one, most post-2003 fans still haven't found it. Anyway, the very first one is ridiculously hard to find. Its is the only one that I don't have, but I did manage to find two tracks from it. I try to post them when I get time
Is there any chance you could put up Seth's solo projects? I have The Mourning, the Silver, the Bell, but I cannot find the other two anywhere.
Thanks Bro! Can you upload, I and Love and You?
