http://www.thedevilmakesthree.com/ "The Devil Makes Three doesn't have a drummer, but the band doesn't need one. Cooper McBean's percussive banjo accents and Lucia Turino's forceful slaps on her bass supply more than enough rhythm. Guitarist and lead singer Pete Bernhard completes the trio with a bluesy vocal style that's part Louis Prima, part Merle Haggard. The group has been carving a niche since arriving on the scene six years ago, with a sound that combines bluegrass, old-time music, folk, rockabilly, and Piedmont blues and ragtime, all played with a blazing punk-rock attitude." -J. Poet, SF Weekly This is their three released albums: (self-titled), "A little Bit Faster A Little Bit Worse", and "Longjohns, Boots and a Belt" All files are in .ogg format @ 256K bitrate.

i would love to check these guys out, but .ogg format is not a format i am familiar with and therefore will not use valuable bandwidth to snag it. please provide in .mp3, or .flac if your concern is quality.
Ogg is not about quality, it is about the fact that it is the only freely licensed format.
What this means is that, when you buy Windows or OSX, you're sort of paying for a license to play mp3's. It's not quite that straight forward, but the legality of someone using linux to play mp3's is often questionable. Ogg is not complicated to use, and virtually every major audio player can recognize ogg.

Audio players can play Ogg, but itunes won't recognize it. that's the problem.

This Band Rocks! Seen them live once. It was to cool. I can't seem to download it though. If someone could seed it, I'd be truly Grateful. Although, When I can I plan to buy the albums. They deserve to be paid for they're awesome music for sure. If I have to wait that's O.K. too.
