I won't argue quality. If you've invested in quality audio gear I see why you'd want the lossless files. You have to at least acknowledge why MP3 is sticking around. It's not because people just want to have inferior quality. I'd guess over 95% of all music is listened to on a hardware/ software combination that won't play FLAC easily. You can't play directly with an Ipod or Zune without additional steps that most folks won't bother with. To ask everyone to only use lossless currently seems futile.
