For this copy supposedly being NTSC, the .img file doesn't even play, the title screen is just black with repetitive music and is a waste of an entire week's worth of downloading. At least the U.S. release is tomorrow and there will be decent copies available.
Regardless of what other people may state don't waste your time downloading this. The file isn't mountable or readable by any American player other than the fact that it's in .img DVD5 format. The file is virus-free though according to multiple scans from Trend-Mirco, AVG & WinLive OneCare as of 10/20/2008.
For those of you patient enough the American release on DVD is tomorrow.

Well here's another person stating that this plonker (kyrinoz) doesn't know what (s)he's talking about. This is a perfectly good copy of the DVD; my only criticism would be that I would much have preferred the Spanish Language audio to have been retained in preference to the Director's Commentary audio track. At least the Spanish subs were left on.
It IS NTSC format, .img files aren't intended to "play" and if you're getting a blank screen with music then that's a problem that YOU have created on YOUR system, kyrinoz! It's nothing to do with the files in this torrent which have all checked out fine here. Also, since I, and many others, chose to ignore your stupid (or ill-informed?) comments, it takes nothing like a week to download now! :)
I couldn't possibly fathom the depths of your mistakes there so I have no idea of what (all) you're doing wrong but I can offer a few pointers to anyone else who downloads this and is then unfamiliar with how to handle the result.
After decompression, the archive produces the following disc image: "bd-hulk-dvdr.img" and this image can be readily mounted using Magic ISO. Once mounted in a virtual drive it plays perfectly. It can also be burned directly to DVD Disc using Magic ISO or the excellent ImgBurn (which is Freeware... just google it).
Perhaps kyrinoz doesn't realise it but .img files were the original Mackintosh Disc Image file format and Magic ISO is the only one of the most prominent programs in this field that WILL mount this kind of disc image. However, the .img format is almost always identical to the .iso format! Thus, simply renaming the file extension to .iso will enable you to do whatever you normally would with that kind of disc image.

i had no problem whatsoever with this torrent. downloaded fine. didn't take a week. my internet isn't fantastic so it took an evening. no biggie for me though. plays on my computer. burned it and plays on all of my dvd players.

can any1 tell me plz how to play rar and iso files of longer lenghts like 4gb or more, im using vlc player but whenever i play long files the winarcchive stops responding. need help thankyou.
when i burn this onto a dvd, it's automatically coming up with the director's commentary. does anyone know which rar file contains the commentary, so i can delete it? (or have some solution to fix it)

To fix it, go to the main menu and go to Bonus Features. Under Directors Commentary, choose the small little box without the red "X".
If you want to watch the movie with subtitles without the directors commentary, do the above step first, THEN choose the subtitles. Make sure to turn off the commentary off first, or else you'll have subtitles for the commentary and not for the main movie.
