This film by Richard Dawkins is absolutely SCARY. It shows the utter ignorance, arrogance and aggression of Christian fundamentalists in the USA. If these people gain power - which they already have in some states - America will be propelled back into the Middle Ages. Some of the laws in the States are already medieval and inhuman (like the now widespread use of torture, capital punishment and other draconian laws not found in any other civilised country outside the US except maybe Iran and other rogue states). But the most unsettling thing is that many of these imbeciles look forward to Armageddon (the final battle) since according to their moronic beliefs it will hail their ascent to heaven. A country as large as the US with nuclear weapons and a medieval mindset is the most scary thing imaginable. Day by day democracy in the US is being eroded and Christian fundamentalists (like Bush who claims God told him to invade Iraq) are seizing more and more power. When will the remaining, intelligent Americans wake up to the danger? For more imformation go to: http://richarddawkins.net/

Scary indeed. With the threat of Muslim fundamentalists, if these clowns ever get the power a global catastrophe is a very distinct possibility.

Dawkins likes to interview twats. I could interview 10 alcoholics and put a case forward to ban drink. doesn't mean it would be right - free choice. dawkins has his mind set and his is just as ridiculous as anybody else. we're on a mud ball rotating round a huge atomic furnace. whats so scientific about that. There's quite a few Physicists that believe in God and there's just as many if not more that don't. You either do or you don't. I personally prefer pepsi to coke.
This is a Horizon documentary:

It is about the Dover trial:

It is an excellent documentary and thanks for hosting, but it is not made by Richard Dawkins.
There is also a PBS Nova documentary on the same trial "Judgement Day: Intelligent Design on Trial".

scary indeed. this should be compulsive viewing for everyone, especially children who are brain-washed from an early age by ACE, acellerated christian education. easy to see why america and britain are in such an appalling mess.
Don't forget that science isn't the utopia Dawkins seems to BELIEVE in.
It is indeed science that brings the tools to the hands of these fundamentalists for their Armageddon, after all.
Don't get me wrong, I'm an antitheist. Although I consider the position of making science a beautiful lovely thing rather ridiculous, as well as false.
Science continues to be one of the most destructive man-made forces.
