(Problems with magnets links are fixed by upgrading your torrent client!)
Several Gordon Lightfoot rarities: - Two versions of "Daisy-Doo" and "I'm the One" from the Chateau C-142 single. - The "Get Together" bootleg (Some of the songs not performed by GL). - Two versions of a StarTrack Profile, aired on different dates but using much of the same source material in each. All from vinyl with post processing to remove most of the noise.

Why would anyone in their right fucking mind scan the covers at 10M each? (see Get Together) They shrink down to screen size at less than 100K!
Admittedly an oversight. You had the option not to download them, but chose to anyway. I guess you wanted them after all. Your language is quite revealing of your character, btw.
Sorry about the language. I don't normally pay attention to the SIZE of the covers because it is not normally an issue. This was an extremely slow torrent and when I discovered the covers were over half the size of the entire album I flipped. I would never have downloaded them had I known and, yes it was my fault. I do appreciate the upload.
Too late to fix this one, I'll be more careful next time. We learn as we go. As you can see I'm new to creating torrents. I've DLed a lot of old material that I've been searching for and figured I give some back. As for your DL time on this one - at home I need to keep the speed down. I thought I could get away with pushing it at work and then I triggered something that killed my port several times. Now I keep the speed down there too. So, the DL time was totally my fault. It took over a week to get the Beatles RKO torrent seeded. I've got bunches of Heart and some Moody Blues radio material I'd like to get out, but no BW to do it.
Here's the problem Red42a, I don't know how long it took you to fully seed the first peer, but a lot of peers drop off as soon as they get the entire torrent. The original seeder has to stay online for days and days to get a few people to help seed. I uploaded a torrent today:
http://piratebayproxy.live/torrent/4509418/John_Fahey_-_Christmas_Guitar-Volume_One
and watched it closely. The first leecher had a really quick download but must have been in front of his computer because he immediately dropped off and it was another hour or so (by that time there were a lot of people trying to get it) before another got the whole torrent. Now there are plenty of seeds. If more people would seed at least a ratio of 1 and hopefully 1.5 before they drop off it would help the whole community.
Thanks again for Gordon Lightfoot, one of the best.

Yes, I saw that effect on some of my torrents. On the RKO torrent I ran it in initial-seeding (aka super-seeding) mode so that it forced the peers to share. At most times there were 20+ peers with 3-6 open connections. They all advanced evenly and when the initial upload finished there were 20+ seeds within 5 minutes. My final ratio for the torrent was 2.091, so for me it was a rather efficient upload. But it took over 5 days because I had to keep the BW below 25KBps. (And I was running 2-3 other smaller torrents, including this one, at the same time.) I'm sure some of the peers were wondering if the whole thing would ever make it.
Anyway, good talking with you. Wish I had more Lightfoot to share, but this is it. In many years of collecting, this is all I've run across. Heart on the other hand - I think they did more interviews than any other band.
