PowerISO v4.3 made Portable. No need to install it! PowerISO is a powerful CD/DVD image file processing tool, which allows you to open, extract, create, edit, compress, encrypt, split and convert ISO files, and mount these files with internal virtual drive. It can process almost all CD-ROM image files including ISO and BIN. Main Features: Support almost all CD/DVD-ROM image file formats(ISO, BIN, NRG, CDI, DAA and so on). Note: DAA(Direct-Access-Archive) is an advanced format for image file, which supports some advanced features, such as compression, password protection, and splitting to multiple volumes. It can be handled directly just like other formats, such as ISO, BIN, ... Open and extract ISO File. Create ISO file from hard disk files or CD/DVD-ROM. Edit an existing ISO file directly. Convert image files between ISO/BIN and other formats. PowerISO can convert almost all image file formats to standard ISO format file. Make bootable ISO file, get boot information from bootable ISO file. Make floppy disk image file. Optimize files to save disk space while saving ISO file. Mount ISO file with internal virtual drive. You don't need install any other virtual drive software. Can be used easily. PowerISO supports shell integration, context menu, drag and drop, clipboard copy paste... More infos at: http://www.poweriso.com/ This package contains a first Portable version built using RunHiddenConsole.exe to start the Batch file that changes some values in Registry, runs the program and deletes the Registry values when exiting from the program just to avoid having the sloppy DOS window in the background. Some AVs complain with it recognizing RunHiddenConsole.exe as a malicious/potentially harmful program as it can be used to hide malicious behaviours. If it's your case, or just don't trust in the first one, use the second version. The Portable SFX EXE files are built up using WinRAR. You can use it to extract the files and check them one by one if you want to be sure of what is running on your machine. SUGGESTIONS ON USING P2P DOWNLOADS ================================== 1) It's always better to run all downloaded programs using Sandboxie or a similar virtual machine. 2) When in doubt, scan them with an Internet Scan service as the ones provided by Jotti and VirusTotal http://virusscan.jotti.org/ http://www.virustotal.com/ This will ***NOT*** give you any warranty that a file passing their analysis is clean, nor that if they see them as a troian it's so or not just another false positive, but helps you to decide and at least ask for help or infos. 3) Remember, trust nobody, and when in doubt, go to point 1) 4) If you find any upload containing trojans or whatsoever malicious or unclean, Instead of start cursing in the comments of the upload, take the time to go to the Suprbay Forum at: http://suprbay.org/forumdisplay.php?f=34 and report links and comments there, and someone will take care of all the nasties. That's the only way to keep TPB and its uploads fresh and clean. That's for what is regarding security. If after testing it you see that you like it and it's useful for you, show your support by buying it! Enjoy and remember to seed... :o)

I've just scanned the file with Jotti and VirusTotal and for both of them the file is clean. Feel free to scan them By yourself.
BTW, the one that you detected is the only one that doesn't have RunHiddenConsole.exe inside, just the original installed files and the added batch, nothing else. I'm wondering which AV are you using.
Here is the report.

I suppose it's time you get a better antivirus...

ASO Portable is done. I've tried also Fix-It, but a program that installs 300 and more MB can't be considered an optimizer from my point of view, and not worth to make it portable too...
Jeeeezzzz! 300 MB! Crazy....

hey im new at this, i downloaded your portable winrar to extract my downloaded psp games and it works, great, now i tried to do the magic on pc games so, since your a good source, i got this here your poweriso portable,
BUT THE PROBLEM IS, i tried to mount the extracted files (BIN & CUE) seperately and both, what happen is my pc says the poweriso has not been installed correctly, it needs to be reinstalled...
i thought i should extract it again using poweriso this time, so i did that and a "New Image File" resulted, and then i tried to mount it again, but the same result appeared, the poweriso is incorrectly installed...
so how do i fix that? did i do something wrong? can you give me a step by step procedure pls... sorry for the really long question... hehe..
thanks alot in advance...

I use PowerISO and MagicISO only to manage the ISO image files of CDs and DVDs, and I don't use the Virtual Image Mounter, as this one requires to be resident on the machine. It's probably better to install it if you want to mount the images, or burn them on a CD before using it.

perfect! Thank you very much.
At least the first one I used on my remote-desktop server and it worked.
I don't know why there are 2 installers.
