Kagome discovers a weird boy with dog ears pinned to a tree in a forest and is captured by strange villagers. However, she finds that Kikyo cannot move without her soul: the very soul that is inside of Kagome! 15. Kagome soon reclaims her soul and Kikyo runs off to retain at least part of it Inuyasha chases after and thinks back to when Kikyo convinced him to use the Shikon no Tama, to become Human! 16. Inuyasha also learns something new about what happened to him and Kikyo, long ago. 17.
