This is the Core Player for handheld devises. WindowsMobile 6.1 and so on. I know that there is alot of coreplayers out there. And i also know that there are alot of the that does't work. So here it is. The newest version and build. Works like a charm on my Samsung Omnia. I had an older version of Coreplayer and it worked once and then it didn't start at all. This version works all the time, and better than the "TCPMP" player. I have also added a small program that you install and then you can install your .cab files from you PC to your WM device in just one click. Very smooth and you don't have to copy-paste and then find it on your device and the install it. Good luck. No serial or activation required.

And how to install without Sync. I copied the cab file onto memory card of my device, ran it, and it came back with a message that it was not installed.
Downloaded.
Installed the cabinstaller program.
Right clicked on the app and kept getting either a). An exception error or b). Permission to folder denied error.
So, didn't work for me!

Same as neil.hy , the instructions in the "Howto" .txt file are very unclear...all i get is "Exeption of type "System.Exception" is thrown".
Ive got the same error as neil.hy and spiggen90. so ive decided to copy cab file to my mobile anyway and installed it direct from mobile device.

Hate this player. Tried 2 different versions on my VZW Omnia, and it never displays the screen correctly. I've tried messing with the settings, but no luck. What did you do to make it work all right on your omnia. Do you have an i900 or i910? Touch player works fine for most movies, but some are wrong xvid ver or whatever. I don't feel like reencoding, and would love a player that does it all like this one. Have a suggestion?
i can't find the cab, inside the zip is just a folder which contains a howto.txt, an installer, and a .zip file which i cant open.
renamed the unopenable zip i was talking about above to coreplayer.zip and then i could open it without problems, installed it, works great, I noted that the screen swings counterclockwise into landscape mode while all other apps i have do it clockwise...
As described. Works great. Downloaded winrar zip file to PC then transfered zip to HTC touch phone microSD . Clicked on zip. Clicked cab file and it installed. Thanks!

Works perfect on my HTC Touch HD.
Dont listen to the instructions, just put de cap file on your mobile or sd card and install it with you mobile.
It works immediately.
