About 25% of the files (taken from cassette tapes) are missing the last few seconds of audio. It's still understandable, but several chapters have hooks that are less enjoyable because of the cut.
Example: "As God as my witness, I'll never go hungry again. You hear? I'll never g..."

This audiobook is infuriating. It was recorded from casette tapes. Every single word spoken by the annoying man who introduces the tapes (which includes a never-ending history of the book and at the midpoint, a recap and useless RE-READING of the scenes you just heard) is included. YET the end of each side 1 cuts off the last part of what's being read and several tracks (or tape sides) have huge chunks of audio missing. It doesn't scratch or warp, it just jumps around from one page to the next and in many cases it would not have been noticeable to someone less familiar with the novel than I am. Thanks for uploading, but given all the problems I honestly think paying for a copy would have been preferable.
