Seems to work fine. I was able to backup and validate, whereas none of the other fixes worked after 15 days. (Once you have tried this workaround it's not hard to follow). Cheers

i havent tried it yet, but it is harmless.
There is a script to run at startup/shutdown that removes a registry key (which is only relevent to acronis). Very simply. Very clever.
