Kate Winslet's performaance is magnificent, filled with compelling, contradictory and totally believable undertones.
"The Reader" is a complex film; maybe a little too complex for some. Though the film pertains to Nazism and the "sins of our fathers," in essence, "The Reader" is a film that reflects the emotions inside all of us. In the end it is a film made up of outstanding performances, a beautiful score and a moving tale of complex affection.

The sample shows standard screener quality, but I'm tempted to complain about the video... but I won't. It's absolutely 100% watchable, just a little weaker than normal, as the screens show.
And why are DVDSCR's always 2 discs, a gig and a half? Does the academy ship them out in 2 discs?

pretty new to this, but why are more and more torrents coming on two disc's now? theres not enough difference in quality to go for these over the 700mb avi or xvid's!!
i saw Kate Winslet in one movie and she was terrible.for this reason i will never watch any movie with her in it.thought this movie was about something else,glad i didn't dl.
