thanks for this, you imply you have more of the old DrWho and thast great....thanks

hoever it sems you have a very slow upload connection and its taking a massive amount of time to get out the initial 100%.

can i ask that you restrict your initial seed to a very few peers and/or make sure you set the provided "Super Seed" mode to get the 100% out there ASAP next time....

there are plenty of fast connections taking your torrent, that could then push the torrent out there,.

you NEED to use your slow upload connection to the best advantage, and that means setting super seed OR if you prefer set your AZ seed to only 3 peers and they in turn can pass it out far quicker...to everyone else
Fugazi32, the torrents been up and down for two days now, and we are still only at 81.1% as you seem to be dropping in and out a LOT and have it set really low.

your upload rate seems to be giving people an average of only 1.6KB/s ,is your upload capability really that bad ?, and are you trying to feed all 18 peers at this time?

please check your upload rate and restrict it to 3 of the top % peers currently connected..... that WILL make a big DIFFERENCE to everyone.

are you reading this page or readingthe AZ comment ? as theres been no replys so far
Fugazi32, do you have " DrWho:the time medler" ?

that looks interesting and i dont remember seeing that before ;)

you just dont get the same story telling today.

please up it if you have it, and use super seeding or restrict to 3 peers this time from the get go, im standing by ready to seed.

PS try and keep looking in here and your next torrent page so we can comment and make the most of the faster connections.
Sorry but Not impressed with this upload at all I'm afraid,it took 5+ days to download due to the uploader having a very limited upload speed and when it finally finished uploading it is not even the proper TV episode but a soundtrack of the episode with a few still pictures to indicate who is speaking as they are reconstructed episodes. To save people time in the future I would suggest ripping the episodes from the .iso to AVI format in order to make it a smaller upload (plenty of DVD ripping software available on this very website, just make sure you download from an account with a "VIP" or "trusted" skull ) and also setting the upload limit of your Torrent client to maximum for your ISP connections capability
yeah, that "Episodes: 1 & 3 are reconstructions as these are missing from the BBC Archives," threw me a little too...

by reconstruction they took the sound track from somewere and overlayed the pictures to set the scene , 2 and 4 are the real deal OC, but again , it doesnt look like the bbc did a digital cleanup of the original tapes.

still ,that " DrWho:the time meddler" coming soon looks like its VGA quality at least in the clip shown on the DVD, so id like to see it if its available....

retro TV, can be good if you dont set your sights to high on the picture quality, its all about the story after all ;)

simply setting " super seed" as i said above would have made it quicker, and im seeding it to only 3 peers at a time right now , so they get it quicker...

if we all set our sees to the same 3 peers and 6 connections, we would all of finished far quicker as we cooperate to get the 100% out there.....

it doesnt appear Fugazi32 is even reading this page though, and thats strange for the original seeder, perhaps he's new at this and if we ever get him reading and replying here we might get somewere with the other rare video's...
Hi guys, sorry for the slow upload i've had busy torrent traffic over the last few days, it's uploading @ full speed now.

Episodes 1 & 3 are Loose Canon Reconstructions, I know they don't look too pretty but these episodes are missing so there's nothing I can do.

I will be uploading DVDs of 'Death to the Daleks' & 'Planet of the Daleks' and possibly 'The Daemons' soon once I encode them.
Fugazi32, now that its got 100% out there, you dont now need to frrd everyone, just do as i did and knock them down to 3 peers at a time so they get it quicker....

why didnt you use super seed on this BTW?, its easy on AZ, as is setting your peers and amount of connections per torrent.

"I will be uploading DVDs of 'Death to the Daleks' & 'Planet of the Daleks' and possibly 'The Daemons' soon once I encode them. "

i take it then you dont have that " DrWho:the time meddler" ?

as for encoding your next selection, what as Divx or AVC ?

for a very quick and dirty AVC encode you can use this http://files.filefront.com/13189236

the 2005 Freeware AVIVO stand alone quick and dirty AVC Encoder for any Gfx card

you can use that on anything but the qualitys not upto x264 high quality OC
and this version workd on any PC gfx card.

if however you have an ATI card in there already you can also install "ATI Tray Tools" inside that dir you will find his stand alone ATI Xcoder GUI to interface with the above AVIVO direcx code and get a little (quite abit more infact)more control of your Encoding than the generic AVIVO GUI, try it on your reps and compare them against the original, then torrent it and lik all your upload here so we know you have doen another DrWho ;)

doh! sorry for the typeing errors

http://www.guru3d.com/article/ati-tray-tools-/

AVC/H.264 is your better bet for encoding BTW although you can also make Divx/Xvid from inside the AVIVO stand alone app, not great quality but ok depending on the original quality OC

and link your other upload torents here for reference, the front page moves to fast sometimes so ill check here first....

Hi, sorry I do not have The Time Meddler yet, i'm looking for it myself, I only found the trailer in that format....it was ripped off The Sea Devils DVD I think.

For this version of The Moonbase I encoded from http://piratebayproxy.live/torrent/4296057/Patrick_Troughton - using Mencoder/MPlayer/DeVeDe.

I am not using Windows, but i'll check out those links....sorry, this is my first torrent...live & learn I guess, I will be seeding it at full speed now.
iv not got time right now but i think i found these as valid names a Episodes

# Doctor Who - 02x09a - The Time Meddler (The Watcher).mkv 350 Mb
# Doctor Who - 02x09b - The Time Meddler (The Meddling Monk).mkv 351 Mb
# Doctor Who - 02x09c - The Time Meddler (A Battle of Wits).mkv 352 Mb
# Doctor Who - 02x09d - The Time Meddler (Checkmate).mkv 350 Mb

but they seem to be inside this massive 173.06 GB torrent not downloading that as a one off, 4 part single stories at a time seems to be the order of the day if anyone wanted to take the time to seperate them ?

if anyone does pull all these down , making a sample file of each episode and a little text outlining the storys in one big torrent might be a very good thing, but your going to need a lot of patence and time to do that ;)

Wow, cheers for finding that torrent! What's the speed like? It didn't look too healthy, but I might grab some of the episodes out of there.
the 4 The Time Meddler's came down in an hour but theres was only 1 seed and their were not there most of the time.

if you select the episodes that the peers have thou it should be fine.

just restarted it and theres now 2 seeds available but not seen or connected directly here yet.

i might fix up a freenas livecd with the spare 200gig hd i have and think about doing the whole thing sometime.

whatever bits you readers get , post here and we then know that eposodes compleate and can peer off your copy ;)

The Time Meddler will be seeded for the weekend at least...
