We will not stand quietly by when we see a serious threat to the freedom of speech, markets and the individual. It is not outrageous to uphold and defend these as foundational principles nor to point to history as proof of their value.

You are welcome to your views but remember that freedom of expression doesn't mean a passive acceptance of it. The value of communication is in the effectiveness of it's reception. You seem to have problems with both.

Just because I live in Canada doesn't mean this doesn't concern me. I admittedly have some personal motivations such as having a lot of American relatives but concerns run much deeper.

Bullshit like enforced "fairness" in broadcasting and universal healthcare are a can of worms you guys do not want to open. The Democrats are heedlessly pursuing policies and programs that are I have seen cripple my country.

It cannot be emphasized enough how vital America's prosperity and security is to the world's safety and economic stability. For me it comes down to the simple (if selfish) equation of "if America falls, Canada falls".
