THE SEVENTH LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS

Termodynamikens Sjunde Lag is a swedish ensemble that plays electro-acoustic avantgarde music. They were formed in 2002 by Fred Anderson, Markus Widegren & Anders Rudolfsson.

They have so far released three albums, one single and one EP.

The first two albums, 795 TUSEN 5 MILJONER and DISTURBED BY A WOODPECKER, is centered around classical instruments like Grand Piano, Marimba, Timpani, Cowbells, Violin, Organ, Guitar, Flute and this is spiced with unusual instruments like electrical drill, iron bars, distorted voices & feedback, broom and many other things. The third album LIVE AT THE COPACABANA is more harsh and raw, based on keyboard, distorted organ, accordion and a lot of strange percussion.

A cd-single entitled SOME DAY YOU'LL LOVE ME was released in 2005 with the ensembles own interpretation of the essence of pop-music.

An EP was released in february 2009. It's called PANDORNAS ASK [EP] and features both electronics and back to the basic classical electro-acoustic style that began their career. And a blues-song.
