THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD (1965) IMDB- www.imdb.com/title/tt0059749 Richard Burton Claire Cloom Oskar Werber A Martin Ritt Production. PLOT- Plot summary for The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965) More at IMDbPro » advertisement Alec Leamas, a British spy is sent to East Germany supposedly to defect, but in fact to sow disinformation. As more plot turns appear, Leamas becomes more convinced that his own people see him as just a cog. His struggle back from dehumanization becomes the final focus of the story. Written by John Vogel {[email protected]} When a fellow British agent is killed at Checkpoint Charlie right before his eyes, Alec Lemas, head of the Berlin station, returns to London headquarters. There his boss, Control, inquires if he is tired, burnt out, ready to come in from the cold. Control suggests that there is a vacancy, a desk job, that might interest him, but Alec declines adamantly. Thus, Control immediately mentions that he has something out of the ordinary in mind for a man called Hans-Dieter Mundt, who in 1959 posted as a member of an East German steel mission. Written by alfiehitchie NTSC 2 Disc set. Both ran through DVD Decyrptor then DVD Shrink. Cover and first half of the insert included before my scanner went out. Ill post an update later with the disc scans and rest of the insert but the entire movie and extra selections are already HERE!. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 32 out of 38 people found the following comment useful:- Best spy movie of the 1960s, 21 December 2004 Author: x_hydra from Boston, MA So many poor Cold War spy movies were made in the 1960s, ranging from shtick to schlock. This one is a standout -- great acting, great atmosphere, great plot. It's darker, grittier, and more realistic than any other films of this genre from the mid-60s, and wears even better with age (no "mind control machines" or other ridiculous retro gadgets).

thank you for this release, but why compressed them so much?
3Gb for a 2h film is not really enough..
maybe you can share the uncompresssed image too (at least the first disc)?
